Importance of "Election Day"

"Election Day" is one of the most important days to millions of Americans. This is the day that they think they have a say in who our nation's leader will be for the next four years. This is the day that, dispite the millions of other votes, every individual will go into a booth and vote, in hopes that their one vote will make a difference. And, it does. I mean, if everyone goes into Election Day thinking that they might as well not vote, then noone votes, and even though the Electoral College will still be up, there will be no say from the citizens of our country. It is important to the people that do vote, however, since it is their way of saying they are loyal to our country, and they can take pride in helping our nation's leader be elected.
